I wanted to share with you a website created by The American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) that was sent to me via the New York State Developmental Disabilities Planning Council e-bulletin.
They have established a webpage on
disability issues and the 2008 Presidential Election.
A collaboration of AAPD, the National
Council on Independent Living (NCIL), Self-Advocates Becoming Empowered
(SABE), and ADAPT developed a set of questions which were posed to the
currently announced presidential candidates. Responses have been coming
in over the last few weeks. Additional responses will be posted as they
are received. See the link below to see the candidates' views:
