Parent Support Nights

This year SEPTA is proud to be sponsoring four "Parent Support" nights. The objectives of these meetings are to enable our parents to bring their issues, problems, solutions or remedies, and share them with our members. We know that parents of children with special needs are often overwhelmed, exhausted and emotionally drained. These meetings are an opportunity to connect with other members of your community experiencing similar feelings. We encourage you to attend.

Our first one is on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 in the district Office at 7:30. In addition to sharing we will be demonstrating how to organize your child's records so you can more effectively advocate for their needs. We will be supplying binders to all attendees so please RSVP for this at Frank122@optonline.net

The next three are on Wednesday, January 12, 2012; Tuesday, March 20, 2012 and Monday, April 23rd, 2012. The final three meetings will be an informal gathering where parents that have struggling children can discuss these difficulties with our support parents. We welcome input from everyone and look forward to helping you, help your child.
