December 3rd, Wednesday Nailing Jell-O to the Wall !! How does Executive Function Deficits impact a child or teen with AD/HD? By Liz Tibett, MBA, Volunteer, P2P certified teacher Does this title describe your experience with yourchild/student ? Gain better insight to what it’s like to walk in their sneakers! You will learn concepts (for all grade levels) to create strategies relevant to your child/student’s individual needs.
Strategies and Ideas will be given to apply at home/school to lessen the stress and accommodate needs such as: *Planning, prioritizing, organizing time, space and homework *Starting and finishing projects *learning from past mistakes *Expressing oneself and analyzing problems Support group offered for High School students to discuss their own academic struggles (7pm).
