Post Campus of Long Island University Saturday Mornings Sponsored by the Center for Community Inclusion Description: A skills and support group will meet for two hours for seven Saturdays. This free program will focus
on providing leisure, communication, and social skills intervention to children with Autism. During this one hour,
siblings will attend a support session. After, the children will meet and participate in an inclusive recreation program. Dates: October 30, November 6, 13, 20, December 4, 11, 18 Eligible Applicants:
Children with Autism - Between the ages of 4 and 12 years. Siblings - Between the ages of 6 and 17 years. There is no cost to apply or enroll in the program. Our membership; Parents of & Individuals with disabilities & Voluntary Service Providers to those aging out or aged out of school; seek dialogue with our Elected Representantives, & the governmental agencies, at all levels of government, charged with the responsibility to serve our constituency.
The Task Force on Aging Out is dedicated to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental and mental disabilities and their families as they transition from childhood to adulthood. The Task Force has been in existence since 1982.
This meeting is to fulfill our goal of increasing and maintaining government focus on the Aging Out issue. We look forward to discussing topics of mutual interest and concern. Working together, we hope to meet the needs of the aging-out/aged-out population in the twenty-first century.

Family Training Program is A Multi-Session Interactive and Educational Program
for Adults and Parents of Children, Adolescents, teens and adults with AD/HD.
